WARREN — A Warren man is accused of stealing $7 worth of Dove soap from Giant Eagle on Mahoning Avenue.
Sean Matthew Allen, 30, 5566 Mahoning Ave. NW, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Warren Municipal Court to a charge of petty theft. He is due back in court Feb. 22.
A police officer working off-duty at the store, 2700 Mahoning Ave., on Wednesday caught a man with soap stuffed down the front of his pants, according to a police report.
