SOAP LAKE – Soap Lake’s annual Winterfest and Arts Celebration returns on Saturday with a full day of holiday activities.
Music, craft projects and activities are happening from noon to 6 p.m. at several locations, with activities including candle making, story time, cookie decorating and carolers. The Soap Lake Senior Center is also hosting a breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Masquers Theater is also holding a performance of “A Christmas Story: The Musical” at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at www.masquers.com or at the door. The show runs on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Dec. 17.
Santa Clause is set to arrive at 3 p.m. at the gazebo at Main Avenue and Canna Street, and the tree lighting is at 5 p.m. on Main Avenue followed by a gift basket drawing.
