Coronation Street spoilers: Soap's Twitter page leaks shock DEATH - and fans are furious - Express.co.uk

The page, which has over 1.7million followers, shared an exclusive look at this week's action and one picture seemed to announce a little more than some wished to see. 

A disturbing snap of Anna Windass (played by Debbie Rush) sobbing whilst being restrained by police was accompanied with: "EXCLUSIVE PICS: A devastated Sarah finally accepts the news of Gary's death, Luke confronts Rana and things get worse for Robert."

The last time fans saw Gary (Mikey North), he was seemingly alive and well. 

Naturally, viewers were furious over the spoiler and voiced their opinion underneath the Twitter post.

One wrote: "Omg biggest spoiler ever. Honestly! I'm so annoyed they've just ruined it for us."

Another added: "I'm struggling to accept the news too since it's a massive spoiler." 

A third raged: "Why did I read this before I watched my recorded episodes? Damn. didn't know Gary died!!!"

A fourth commented: "Easy on the spoilers there lad. Seriously. I know you like to give us previews but come ON."

Viewers will have to wait to see how the storyline plays out in what is sure to be a gripping week on the cobbles. 

Coronation Street continues tonight on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
