Women of Faith Lutheran Church to sell scented soap bars - Jackson County Times-Journal

The women of Faith Lutheran met at the church on Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. Those attending were: Roseanna Hughes, Carol Swank, Karen Ingram, Mary Lynn Vititoe and Louise Mauch.

Swank opened the meeting with devotions being to remember the 500th anniversary of reformation and Martin Luther, The secretary's and the treasurer's report were given; no corrections or additions were offered.

The women discussed their latest project. They have received their order for scented bars of soap. They are four ounces, made of organic materials and come in 13 scents and one unscented. They will offer them for sale after church. They will also offer them for sale to those who are interested on Dec. 4 and 11, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The soap is $5 a bar. The women agreed to pay for the postage and handling for the Christmas shoe boxes collected.

The women will meet again on Dec. 13, at the church at 11 a.m. They decided not to do the Christmas gift exchange but to have their meeting followed by having pizza and free will desserts. Meeting was adjourned.
