SOAP LAKE – The Soap Lake Police Department is seeking donations for their first Shop with a Cop.
Soap Lake police are sponsoring five children in need to take shopping for Christmas. The department is looking for monetary donations or new, unopened toys.
“We wanted to do something different for our community…,” Interim Chief Ryan Cox said. “If you have a new toy or present, drop it off at city hall.”
Donations can be made Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at city hall, located at 239 Second Ave. SE. The deadline for donations is December 19th.
