EastEnders fans brand the soap 'boring' after episode featuring paint, chips and Masood's coat - The Sun

EASTENDERS fans were left scratching their heads after Tuesday night’s episode and wondering why the soap has become so “boring.”

The episode followed Belinda and Masood’s fledgling relationship, but even when Belinda tried and failed to sexily feed Masood a chip before dropping ketchup on his shirt, or their passionate kiss at the end of the show, failed to get viewers enthused.

The chip drama didn’t do much either

One soap lover sarcastically commented: “Okay so tonight’s DUFF DUFF was Belinda and Massod sleeping together because that was such an exciting way to end #EastEnders.”

Elsewhere on the Square, Martin bought Stacey some paint for her birthday, Ronnie tried to arrange Amy’s birthday party, Denise dropped a box in the shop and Masood’s jacket came under fire.

However the drama just wasn’t cutting it.

Unenthused tweets included: “On tonight’s UNMISSABLE EastEnders, Denise drops a box, Ronnie books a clown, and Belinda insults Masood’s jacket” and “So interesting. Talking about paint. #eastenders”

As martin bought Stacey paint for her birthday, viewers might have had more fun watching paint dry

While others were just why the soap was so dull tonight, with comments such as “Well, that was the most riveting half hour I’ve spent since I last sat outside and watched my grass grow!!! #eastenders”, and, “I’m a massive #EastEnders fan but honestly it has gotten quite boring as of late. What’s going on??”

The BBC soap came under fire for being dull only days ago when fans were left disappointed by Whitney and Lee’s wedding.

Hopefully with dramatic exits including Roxie and Ronnie’s coming up, the show can begin to impress its fans again.
