Coronation Street spoilers: Seb Franklin to EXIT soap? Phelan closes in on troubled teen - Express.co.uk

The moment came as Phelan (played by Connor McIntyre) lured Seb (Harry Visinoni) into a false sense of security by holding a bonding session with him.

The two indulged in a drinking binge and as Seb got progressively more intoxicated, the evil conman waited to make his move.

Phelan proceeded to bring out his gun to show to the teenager.

“Feels good, doesn't it? The power, knowing that no one can mess with you,” Phelan menaced.

As Seb’s bare hands touched the gun, it was clear this was an elaborate ruse to get his fingerprints on the weapon.

Later scenes showed the Liverpudlian carefully place the gun back into his toolbox with gloved hands.

Viewers of the soap were fearful for Seb’s future and took to Twitter to express their horror.

One stated: “Phelan is obviously setting up Seb for the murders by putting his prints on the gun......#Corrie.”

“I wonder if Pat will set up Seb putting his finger prints on the gun that killed Andy and Vinnie? #corrie,” another fan speculated. 

It has already been revealed that Seb will warn Eileen (Sue Cleaver) about her sinister husband.

Will Seb be able to prove his innocence if Phelan uses the evidence against him? Or is he set to join Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) for a spell inside?
