No one hurt in Soap Lake drive-by shooting, one in custody - KHQ.com - KHQ Right Now

SOAP LAKE, Wash. -

Grant County Sheriff's Office, along with Ephrata Police Department, responded to reports of a drive-by shooting in the 140 block of Adrian Avenue, Lakeview area of Soap Lake at approximately 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. No one was injured.

Later in the morning a vehicle with three occupants, one of them a minor, was pulled over. The officer noticed bullet holes in the side of the vehicle. When asked about the incident earlier in the morning, and the bullet holes in their car, the occupants were not cooperative. Bullet fragments were found in the vehicle, and according to security footage of the Lakeview area at the time of the shooting, their vehicle was seen driving through shortly before the first calls came into MACC.

A passenger in the car, Scott Lopez, age 25, of Yakima, was arrested for providing false information and outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants. The minor was released to parents and the other occupant was also released.
