SOAP LAKE - The Soap Lake Eagles returned home this week, after obliterating Waterville just last week. This week saw the undefeated Manson Trojans come to town.
The Eagles defense played hard, forcing four turnovers over the course of the game. After a scoreless first quarter Manson broke through the defense to score two touchdowns and go up 14-0 before half. Soap Lake pushed for a comeback, but Manson’s defense held firm resulting in a 28-6 loss for the Eagles.
The Eagles will be on the road again next week at Liberty Bell.
