Columbia Basin Hospital food drive on Saturday benefits Ephrata, Soap Lake food banks - iFIBER One News

EPHRATA – Columbia Basin Hospital is holding a food drive on Saturday at the Ephrata Safeway location.

Volunteers from the hospital are accepting food donations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Safeway, located at 1150 Basin St. SW.

All donations from the drive benefit the Ephrata and Soap Lake food banks during the busy holiday season, according to Alayna Lodi with Columbia Basin Hospital.

Items of greatest need at the food banks:

• Canned food including fruit, tuna, soup and chili
• Peanut butter
• Hamburger Helper
• Spaghetti sauce
• Sugar and flour
• Top Ramen
• Macaroni and cheese
