An actor who has reportedly appeared The Young and the Restless was arrested in October in Georgia for allegedly molesting a girl younger than 10 years old, PEOPLE confirms.
Corey Sligh was arrested on Oct. 14 and charged with child molestation, a spokesman with Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia tells PEOPLE. He posted $22,000 bail and was released the same day.
The spokesman says Sligh knew the victim and that the “incident occurred in the spring.”

One of the victim’s parents reported the molestation to police on Sept. 24, and Sligh was arrested weeks later, according to police documents obtained by PEOPLE.
It is unclear whether he has entered a plea, and his attorney could not immediately be reached. Efforts to reach him Monday were unsuccessful.
Sligh appeared on CBS’ The Young and the Restless in 2014 in a recurring role as a bartender and waiter, the International Business Times and Soap Central report.
According to his IMDB, Sligh also appeared as an extra in 2008’s God Is Dead and co-starred in the web series All About Lizzie.
