YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Soap Gallery on South Champion Street in Youngstown is celebrated its one year anniversary on Saturday.
They kicked off the celebration with a general reception for their latest feature: Chris Yambar’s exhibition, Artist and Model.
There are over 200 canvas paintings and prints in different colors of the female body. He declined to show the face of the model in his prints to protect her anonymity.
But during the reception, he said that his display represents his admiration for women.
“I think women are the most powerful creature that God ever created. Period,” Yambar said. “And they are worthy of our attention, respect and worship as men.”
